A Buddhist goes into a cafe and says to the waitress: “I’m not terribly hungry, I’ll just have an Om-ellete’.

Silly joke I came up with tonight, don’t mind me.

Goodnight dear friends! I hope you’re all well!! Things have been pretty good for me of late, even though I’ve been stressed/anxious about some stuff, I’ve dealt with it really well, which in a way is almost better than not having it. I’ve also, almost just by chance, made friends with a couple of people which has been nice :) And I’ve been getting back to my various projects and using my leather sewing machine a bit too which is good of course.

Well I had better love you and leave you my darlings, take care and be good to yourselves! xoxox

As promised, the full version of this painting, repainted to obscure my face some. It turned out difficult to get it to look right, because I didn’t have the helmet on straight! It was fine without the ‘mask’ bit, but as soon as I tried adding that it made everything look wonky haha! So not perfect, but never mind, you get the idea.

To reiterate:
Haha I just spent way too long doing this! It came about because I was in the dollar shop [the other day] and saw a naff plastic viking helmet (I know, I know, they didn’t ever wear things like this, whatever, don’t even start with me reenactment people! ;D ) and I thought I’d get it and see if it could be made to look remotely realistic with a bit of work. Just a fun project to play around with when I’m bored. Anyway, it inspired me to do a digital painting of myself as a Viking’ish fellow. I guess it took me about… oh too many hours!! So many hours I feel like I must have worked it out wrong haha! But I’m quite pleased with the result, I should do this sort of thing more often probably.

mastinworldtour replied to your post“I should just not talk to people when I’m tired!”

One day at a time :)

Haha thank you, yeah that does seem to be the way to live. One tries! Also, your ‘ask’ isn’t turned on, in case you hadn’t realized.

I should just not talk to people when I’m tired!

I end up having stupid, awkward conversations, where I make a fool of myself, and then get all neurotic and keep thinking about how stupid I must have seemed haha!

*groooooan* *dieing dinosaur sounds*

Never mind! I will push through this nonsense. Hopefully somewhere out there is someone who will never realize that beneath the beard, the whole pale-hairy-sexy thing, and the jovial foolishness, is crippling self doubt with massive side helpings of foot-in-own mouth ;p

Sorry all, just venting. As you can possibly imagine, there’s a girl, I’m trying not to like her, trying not to flirt with her, and failing a bit on both counts. And then being casually honest about both, which is generally not as good an idea as it seems. And of course the whole thing is silly because I’m adamant that I don’t want to date someone, and there are a number of other women I’d have to decide between if I were going to. Why is life like this? Too many choices, difficult decisions, and opportunities fertile and waiting to be fucked up haha!

God, I sound like I’m going through puberty! It’s honestly not that bad, it just feels good to be melodramatic every now and again, you know?

Love you all! XOXO

Hehe!

Cute girl in yoga kept looking at me and then quickly looking away when I caught her eye!

Either she was fascinated by my beard (and or thought I was thoroughly captivating) or she thought I was creepy and kept making sure I wasn’t checking her out…

Welcome to my mind! :P

Hope you’re all having a lovely weekend! I’m off to make some lunch. By the way, if you’ve never tried humus on a grilled cheese toast (under the cheese of course) you haven’t lived friend!

I might try and contrive a version where I can show you the rest of the painting without showing you my whole face… maybe some sort of ‘mask’ added to the helmet or something. We’ll see.

Goodnight darlings, take care!

I was going to post a silly recording of me playing and singing Mr. Tambourine Man

But I seem to have somehow lost / not saved it haha! Never mind, it wasn’t amazing.

Who was it that used to be fawnmagic?

My calendar keeps telling me it’s their birthday, so I must have known them haha!

Wait for it…

A few silly ‘going out for a run’ pictures! They amuse me, because this kind of clothing is very much not my usual style haha!
